I am not one that complains of screen time. Instead, I try to embrace it if it’s of interest to my kids.
Keeping screen time under control the way you like can take some prior thought. You can download a screen time worksheet here to help you figure our your own rules.
So, if your child shows a huge interest in video games or computer games, or even a TV show… Try not to scoff at it and think it’s not healthy for them. Instead, try to bring that interest into other areas of their life.
When you see that newest video game on their Christmas list, like the brand new Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games you can find at GameStop, think about how you can embrace that interest of theirs.
