This Popsicle Stick Frog Craft is such a cute activity. It’s a fun and simple craft for kids of all ages.
Popsicle Stick Frog Craft
This is what you need to make a Popsicle Stick Frog Craft:
- Green popsicle sticks (or plain ones , paint them green first)
- 2 large googly eyes
- Red construction paper
- 2 pieces of scrap white cardboard (can be from a paper plate or toilet paper tube)
- glue
- scissors
Place 4 or 5 popsicle sticks next to each other. Glue a popsicle stick to the top and bottom of the row. This will act as the frog legs and hold the other popsicle sticks together (the frog body).
Cut a 1″ wide strip of red construction paper. Roll it up and glue onto one end of the frog body. After all, a frog needs his long curly tongue!
Cut the scraps of cardboard into ovals, make a fold at one of the oval, you will place a line of glue on this fold and use it to attach the eyes to the frog. (refer to photo) Glue the googly eyes to them. Let dry.
Kids can keep this adorable little frog craft on their desk or dresser. Happy crafting!
