Finding Dory Sensory Jar
This craft is easy and fun. If your child is quite young, you may prefer to use a plastic jar or bottle.
Materials and Directions:
- 1 standard sized mason jar, ring, and lid
- Blue acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Blue liquid food dye
- Large wiggly eyes
- Blue and yellow craft foam
- Glue Dots or hot glue gun
- Blue glitter (optional)
- Distilled water
After gathering your supplies, paint the mason jar ring and lid with blue acrylic paint. While the paint is drying, fill a mason jar with distilled water and several drops of blue food dye. If desired, add blue glitter as well.
When the mason jar lid and ring are dry, screw them onto the jar tightly.
Next, cut 2 small right triangles from the blue and yellow craft foam. Stick them together with Glue Dots or hot glue.
Cut out Dory’s smile from the blue craft foam. Attach her smile and her eyes to the mason jar with hot glue or Glue Dots.
Last, secure her fins to the sides of the jar with hot glue or Glue Dots.
Isn’t it adorable! The perfect pre/post movie craft!
