Looking for a simple Christmas ornament to make with your kids? We’ve got your covered! Q-Tip Snowflake Ornaments are easy, fun, and require only two supplies!
Q-Tip Snowflake Ornaments
This is a great craft to make with kids on snowy afternoons while sipping hot cocoa. Kids will get a kick out of making ornaments with something normally found in the bathroom medicine cabinet!
To make this craft you will need:
- Q-Tips
- Hot glue or Glue Dots
- String
After gathering supplies, invite kids to build their snowflakes. It’s difficult to make this ornament using wet glue, so I recommend using hot glue or adhesive Glue Dots.
Snowflakes have 6 sides, but of course kids could add more if they desire to do so.
These ornaments look very beautiful hanging in clusters from the Christmas tree. From a distance, you can’t even tell they are made from Q-Tips!
They are rather delicate, so I don’t recommend playing with them too much. After the snowflakes are finished, glue a loop of red and white striped butcher’s twine to them. Hang and enjoy!
