I can’t believe it’s time again to make fall crafts with the kids! I’m not ready for summer to end yet, but have to admit that I love to make crafts with fall leaves. The colors are beautiful and fall is my favorite time of year!
This is an art project that you may remember from your own school days.
Fall Craft: Tissue Paper Leaves
So pull out the tissue paper (you do save it from birthday parties right??) and let’s get started!
For this craft you will need:
- This free fall leaf printable
- Tissue paper in fall colors
- White glue
- Scissors
Print out the leaves and cut out the ones that you want. Enlarge them by 200% on your printer. Cut or tear tissue paper into squares.
Apply white glue to a small section of one of the leaves.
Crumple squares into a ball. For older kids use smaller squares, while younger kids will do better with larger tissue paper pieces.
Press the crumpled paper into the glue. Get creative and use multiple colors if you like. This makes a great classroom activity as well. Decorate an entire bulletin board to look like a tree! Have fun with it.
