Don’t throw them out, recycle old toys and transform some for a fun statement.
How to Recycle Old Toys.
Once again ¦ we have TOO many ¦ time to repurpose and add some flair!
Make a wacky bookend – use an army man.
Create a memory sculpture of a sampling of your kids favorite toys.
Up-cycled Animals.
Get leggy ¦ and organized with these fun lids. All you need is spray paint and jars from the rubbish bin.
We have a ton of toy animals! Some are missing legs, have chew marks and all are missing paint. While they are old, they are loved. This is a fun way to breathe life into those old toy animals.
Make a coat rack “ with dino heads.
Drill some holes into a toy and upcycle it into a toothbrush holder.
Cut the toys in half, glue and paint them onto wooden L s to create bookends.
Use toys as handles. Here they are the grips for corn-on-the-cob.
Cut the little figures in half – the small figures are perfect for the round magnets. Glue one in and paint it – viola you have funky magnets.
Create a planter from a ball. What a fun way to remember a first shot. You can use basket balls, volleyballs, soceer balls. So many options.
Who knew a tennis ball could be so handy! There are a lot of ways you can use this trusty monster ball.
Genius Hack Ideas
Create a stuffed animal chair. Recover an old cloth chair by stitching your small animals over the top of it. Cute and cuddly! You will need to translate the cite into English.
Not all toy hacks mean your kids are for toys your kids have outgrown. You can paint toys to give them new life “ like this coupe Bat Mobile.
Those 25 cent toy machine cases at the gumball dispensers can be repurposed into a fun lipgloss necklace with this tutorial.
It’s a jewelry holder, made from stacked doll house furniture spray painted. Cool!
Transform a diaper wipe case into a legos-on-the-go architect set.
Legos can hold up your charging cords for you. No digging around wondering where the cords fell.
Bonus Toy Hacks:
It’s a slinky ¦ it’s a bird feeder. This would work well with nesting supplies too! Help the birds line their nests making one of these for winter.
