When my kids were getting ready to start potty training everyone told me to start in the spring or summer and just let them run while in the backyard. In theory that would be great if you could spend the entire day outside but for most of us that is not possible. So here are some fun ideas and tools you can use to start your potty training adventure. I will say the rewards method and charts worked for us. But one thing that worked best of all — setting a timer and going to the bathroom every 30 minutes! Here’s the Ultimate Guide to Potty Training that including other people’s advice, printables and tools.
