One of best gifts my husband and I received as a wedding present was an ice cream maker. This ice cream and sorbet maker has been used more than anything else in our pantry. It makes great ice cream. My all time favorite is a simple vanilla ice cream recipe from this booklet. It’s super soft and pairs perfectly with some cut up strawberries.
You may like the idea of hand-cranking your ice cream. This manual ice cream maker will help you do that.
If you make or eat any ice cream, you need a good scoop. This anti-freeze scoop doesn’t care how cold your ice cream is — it cuts through it with no problem. We have this and love it.
I love these old-fashioned ice cream cups. It reminds me of going to an ice cream parlor. You get a set of 4 cups for under $15!
You may like cones better (I do too) — this cone holder will make sure you can do more than one cone at a time.
This is too cute — make your own mini ice cream sandwiches that look like pigs, cows and chickens. Really great for kids.

– Olive Oil Vanilla Ice Cream – Really? This I have to try!
Do your kids love popsicles? Mine do and it’s a great alternative to ice cream. I also love that you can hide real fruit inside these popsicles and give your kids something healthy and refreshing at the same time.
The Norpro frozen ice pop maker is BPA free and comes with the popsicle sticks. And these are a nice size — some are too small.
If you are looking for a different mold for your pops — these Sunsella Mighty pop up molds allow you to squeeze your pops from the bottom. You get 6 molds in this set plus a free recipe booklet.
Here’s a great recipe book for pops. It’s called People’s Pops and it comes with over 50 recipes for popsicles!
