Sandwich-free lunches are all the rage these days! Lunches without a traditional sandwich can sometimes be a little more challenging to put together. So today on Family Food Live, 5 Sandwich-Free Back to School Lunch Ideas your kiddos will love.

Lunch 1 – Pasta Salad

Shopping List:

• Pasta Shells
• Pepperoni
• Cherry Tomatoes, halved
• Cheddar Cheese, cubed
• 3/4 cup Olive Oil
• 3/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
• 1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar
• 2 teaspoons Oregano
• 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
• 1 teaspoon Salt
• 1/4 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions:

• Follow instructions for cooking the pasta and let it cool
• Combine the pasta and pepperoni, tomatoes and cheddar cheese
• In a mixing bowl whisk together oil, parmesan cheese, vinegar, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
• Add the dressing to the pasta and mix well
• Keep in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving

Serve the pasta salad with melon, cauliflower, and pudding.

Lunch 2- Peanut Butter & Jelly Rolls

Shopping List:

• Peanut Butter
• Jelly
• Bread
• Green Apples
• Carrots
• Chocolate Pudding with Chocolate Chips

Lunch 3 – Pimento Cheese & Turkey Rolls

Shopping List

• Pimento Cheese
• Turkey
• Flour Tortillas
• Tomatoes
• Grapes
• Pretzels
• Chocolate Chips

Lunch 4 – Cubed Cheddar Cheese

Shopping list

• Cheddar Cheese, cubed
• Pepperoni
• Crackers
• Hard-boiled Eggs
• Strawberries
• Apple Slices with Walnuts

Lunch 5 – Ham Rolls with Cream Cheese

Shopping List:

• Cream Cheese, softened
• Ham Slices
• Applesauce
• Oranges
• Yogurt
• Smores’ Trail Mix (marshmallows, chocolate chips, and Teddy Grahams)
