Love Scooby Doo? Who doesn’t!
My Little Miss has been an avid fan of all things Scooby for a few years now, and I was a fan when I was her age too. It’s such a classic series.
Your kids are going to love making and playing with these Scooby Doo Popsicle Stick Dolls, so easy to make – just paint and play – and in the process learning about primary and secondary colors.
Painting in simple stripes in the ever recognizable color combinations the characters will come to life with the minimum of detail.
Apologies for my daughters grubby nails!!! that’s on my to do list for this evening.. haha
Possibilities For Learning – Color Mixing
Through this simple craft activity your kids will learn how to mix the three primary colors, red, yellow and blue to make the secondary colors brown, green, purple and orange. A practical and fun way to learn the Color Wheel.
Brown: mix red and green paint or blue and orange
Green: mix blue and yellow
Orange: mix red and yellow. If you want a lighter orange, use more yellow… darker, use more red
Purple: mix red and blue
Pink: add a little of the purple to white paint
Time to get your crafty pants on!
