Grandma’s Molasses Cookies

My family loves to eat molasses cookies, especially when I make Grandma’s Molasses Cookies! This recipe is perfect for the holiday season.

Mexican Wedding Cookies

Shopping List:

  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar + more for rolling
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/4 cups Flour
  • 3/4 cup Pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions:

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees and prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  • In a large bowl, mix butter, ½ cup powdered sugar, and vanilla. Stir in nuts and salt.
  • Add flour to mixture a little at a time
  • Shape dough into 1 inch balls, place on cookie sheet
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies set
  • Remove and allow to slightly cool
  • Roll cookies in additional powdered sugar
  • Serve

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Holiday Cookies

Here’s another recipe my kids love to help out with. These Chocolate Chocolate Chip Holiday Cookies are so soft and yummy, your family will also devour them.

Christmas Truffles

Shopping List:

  • 12 Premade Sugar Cookies
  • 3 tablespoons Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips, melted
  • Christmas Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Using a food processor, chop sugar cookies until fine crumbs
  • Add cream cheese and combine
  • Shape into a ball and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Place in freezer for 15 minutes
  • Melt white chocolate chips using a double boil method or in the microwave
  • Remove cookies from freezer and dip in melted chocolate
  • Place back on parchment paper and sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles
  • Put in refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden

Sugar Cookies with Hershey Kisses

Shopping List

  • Premade package Sugar Cookies
  • Hershey Kisses
  • Christmas Sprinkles

Instructions:

  • Bake cookies on a non-stick cookie sheet for 10 minutes
  • Remove from oven and place Hershey kiss in center of cookie
  • Or add Christmas sprinkles to decorate the cookie
