Get into the winter spirit with a super easy mini LEGO snowman activity from Julie!
My son loves everything LEGO. If you’ve got a LEGO fan, they’ll love this cute and super simple mini LEGO snowman. It’s the perfect building challenge for winter!
It’s no secret the Hands On As We Grow family adores Duplos and LEGOs!
Kid-Made Mini LEGO Snowman for Winter
For your own mini LEGO snowman winter activity, you’ll need:
- LEGO bricks, assorted sizes and colors
This activity is so simple, but so much fun! Plus, it’s totally about the process, creativity and not the final product.
Each mini LEGO snowman can turn out different. Each one is unique!
First, we built the base of the snowman. We stacked blocks into a circle-type shape.
Next, we added the middle section. We just made a slightly smaller circle-type shape to be the middle section.
Looking good!
Then we built the head and hat! Get creative with how you stack the LEGO bricks to make your mini snowman’s hat.
We added cute eyes to our snowman’s face. Use whatever you have on hand to make the eyes.
Love LEGO? Your child will go crazy for this fun block patterning game.
We added a carrot nose at the end. We used a triangle-type piece, but you could use other small bricks instead.
Honestly, this is so totally open-ended and child-driven that colors, patterns, design, and general appearance kind of don’t matter. Just go with what you have and your child’s ideas!
DIY your own tin can snowman craft!
This LEGO building challenge was so simple, but a lot of fun! Our mini LEGO snowman looks silly, but we had fun building and using our imaginations for this challenge.
My son loved building his own Christmas decorations, and plans to keep them up in his room all season long!
