As we’re heading into another month in The Activity Room, I want to take a moment to thank the wonderful members that make this place special.
In The Activity Room, I provide members with a plan of activities to follow, to make it easy to spend time and make those special memories with your kids. However, the members make this community special by participating, showing everyone how they did the activity, or when they did the activity, all in an effort to help inspire other members and show them the possibilities. It’s simply amazing.
This month, I chose Mindy for her active participation in our member’s only Facebook group where she shares simple things like, “We’re working ahead today and did this activity today because we had extra time”, or sharing how she’s working through the monthly theme.

Meet this month’s Room Member of the Month: Mindy
How many kids do you have? I have one daughter and she is three.
How long have you been in The Activity Room? I think I have been doing this for about eight months.
What is your favorite activity you’ve done in The Activity Room? We love the obstacle course. She has made this activity her own and plans her own courses.
What’s your favorite thing to do with your kids when you get a few moments? We love to color and do play dough.
What’s your best tip for doing activities with your kids? I have found if I am prepared for the day ahead of time I am more likely to do the activities. I do any pre-work on Sunday or the night before.

In April, Mindy is sharing a creative artwork piece as one of the activities in the monthly plan for The Activity Room! Her daughter made it as a decoration for her bedroom and it’s adorable!
