Creative Gross Motor Scooting Pillow Case Race
We recently spent a rainy afternoon having the most epic pillow case races. This idea is so simple, and my kids really loved it!
I appreciated that it was something both the preschoolers and my almost-two-year-old could do together. It kept everyone entertained for a good hour!

Have Fun Setting up Your Race Track
This pillow case race couldn’t be any easier to set up. Choose a smooth surface in your home to create your race track.
We chose to make a circular track around our kitchen. But a long, straight hallway would be perfect for racing as well!

Mark your starting and finish lines with tape on the floor. All set!
Get Ready to Pillow Case Race!
Next, get your racers ready with their pillowcases. Line them up on the starting line!
For less than four kids, take turns pulling and sitting on the pillowcases. Just use your clock or timer to record who gets the quickest time.
For four or more kids, pair them up in twos and get ready for the photo finish!
On your mark. Get set. Go!
My kids had so much fun pulling each other around our race track.
It was so much fun watching them almost lose it around the corners. They had a blast! We will definitely be setting up our pillow case race again soon.
