We needed a DIY Homemade Bug Bite Remedy for the itchy bumps left by mosquito bites.

DIY Bug Bite Remedy
I thought of this at first as a placebo. We were in our bathroom and the scratching began. We sprayed sore throat Chloraseptic Sore Throat Spray on a cotton ball and held that to the bites. My daughters skin got a temporary red hue, but the itching stopped! In an hour or so you couldn’t even see or feel where the bite had been!
My children love being outside and as the weather warms they are learning to share their backyard with these pesky bugs. While we got a bug zapper and have fewer bugs than previous years, the kids still get bit by mosquitoes which is why we love this DIY Homemade Bug Bite Remedy! It is so stinking easy to use and you probably already have the ingredients at home!
Love this! Seriously, it will help my outdoorsy kiddos enjoy our backyard even more!
Chloraseptic also has a line of sore throat lozenges. I’ll have to check them out for throat care as I am sure to use this mosquito bite remedy up on our bug bites.
