Easy Pokéball Clip

Here’s what you need to make this cool Pokémon Clip craft for kids.

  • Red, black, and white craft foam
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Something circular to trace (I used a small mason jar)
  • Hole punch
  • Lanyard clips

Begin by tracing red and white circles. To make 2 Pokémon clips, you will need 2 red circles and 1 white circle.

Cut out the circles with scissors. Cut the white circle in half to create two shapes.

Glue the white half moon shapes onto each of the red circles. Next, cut 2 thin strips of black foam. Glue the strips of black foam above the white half moon shape as pictured below.

While that is drying, cut 2 small black circles and 2 smaller white circles. Of course kids could find something around the house to trace, but we just did our best! Glue the black circles down on top of the Pokéballs, then glue the white circles on top of the black circles.

Allow the entire Pokéball to dry.

When the craft is dry, snip off the excess black craft foam, then punch 1 hole in each Pokéball. Insert the lanyard clip, then kids can hang their Pokéball on whatever they want! One day, my youngest son made his a necklace with yarn! He looked adorable!

Make sure you catch all of our other Pokémon crafts. They are perfect for Pokémon fans of all ages (we see you chasing Pikachu too, Mama!).
