If your family is a fan of a certain little blue fish and super easy crafts, then you’ve found the right place! Shared below is a cute Finding Dory Foam Puppet Craft for kids. It’s especially perfect for toddlers and preschoolers who are learning colors, working on fine motor skills, and love the hit Disney movie!
Finding Dory Puppet
Here is what you need to make this adorable craft:
- Blue, yellow, red, black, and white craft foam
- Glue
- Scissors
- Wooden craft stick or coffee stirrer
First, cut a large oval from the blue foam. We made our oval slightly smaller on top, sort of like an egg. As you work with your little one, it’s fun to practice saying colors and shapes!
Next, cut 2 large white circles, 2 smaller black circles, a red half circle, and yellow and black fins. Invite your child to glue all of the shapes to the large blue oval to create Dory. If your child is working on scissor skills, of course invite them to do the cutting as well!
When Dory is completely dry, glue the wooden coffee stirrer to the back of the her. Play, enjoy, and have fun reenacting scenes from the movie!
