Kids Activities Blog http://ift.tt/2x79XEC Pumpkin Treat Cup

This easy Pumpkin Treat Cup is fun to make, but it’s even “funner” to give away! Kids of all ages will enjoy making and filling treat cups for their friends, neighbors, and teachers.

Kids of all ages will enjoy making a Pumpkin Treat Cup to share with their friends on Halloween.

Pumpkin Treat Cup

This craft only requires basic, inexpensive craft supplies. Paper flower pots can be found at most craft stores and are usually less than $1.00.

To make this craft, you will need:

  • Paper flower pot
  • Orange paint
  • Paint brush
  • Black construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors and paper punches (optional)
  • Candy
  • Black twine or yarn

First, invite children to paint the paper flower pot orange. We used acrylic paint, but tempera paint will work as well.

Next invite children to use scissors and a paper punch to cut out shapes for their pumpkin’s face. This is the perfect time to teach little ones about shapes.

Last, glue a piece of string or yarn to the inside of the treat cup. Allow it to dry completely before filling the treat cup with candy.
