Build & Create with LEGOs
First, have your child build an awesome LEGO creation on their own. My son built a robot, but it could be anything!
Seriously, let them go nuts and build literally anything. No restrictions except their own imagination.
Create 2D LEGO Artwork from a 3D Design
Then, it’s time to transform the sculpture or creation from 3D to 2D! I love this LEGO artwork idea precisely because it’s so simple.
My son placed his LEGO robot beside his drawing paper. Then he sketched out the blocks and shapes with markers, recreating the robot in 2D form.
We started with markers right away, but you might also suggest a pencil outline at first. Then trace over it with markers once everyone is happy with the drawing.
