Rose – Roses have long been a symbol of romance. They have a great floral scent that will help set the tone for the evening and it’s hard to find a more romantic scent. The scent of rose also helps increase desire, boosts self-esteem and confidence and can have hormonal benefits.

Neroli – This essential oil is sometimes used in wedding ceremonies. It has a scent like an orange blossom and is a common Spring fragrance. It’s also supposed to help calm tension and this is why it is often added to bridal bouquets.

Ylang Ylang – This is another essential oil great for calming and it’s often used as a base in perfumes. It has a floral scent but can also be great for your romantic night. It’s not too overpowering but it will set the right tones for the evening.

Sandalwood – This one is great for its calming uses. It can also help when used as a base for an aphrodisiac oil. It makes a great addition to a massage oil blend.

You might also consider an aphrodisiac blend. Just make sure you use high-grade essential oils blend if you’re going that route. You can diffuse some scents into the room while you enjoy a hot bath together, you can use them topically with a carrier oil for romantic massage, and there are a number of other ways you can use them for a romantic night. Whether you need to boost your libido, get your partner in the mood, or relax after a long day of work, these essential oils will help you.
