This is what you need to make Garlic Herb and Tomato Crostini Recipe:
- Baguette Bread, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 6 slices of fresh mozzarella
- 6 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- Olive Oil
- Salt & pepper
Preheat the oven to broil on low setting.
Add the butter, garlic, fresh herbs and a pinch of salt & pepper to a microwave safe dish. Heat for 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors into the butter.
Place the bread slices on a sheet pan or in a cast iron skillet that has been drizzled with olive oil.
Brush with the melted garlic herb butter.
Top with slices of tomato and then the mozzarella.
Season with a pinch of salt & pepper.
Broil for about 5 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted.
