We adore this spring chick handprint craft. It’s so fun to display handprint art as a way to remember how much your kids have grown. And kids love being able to decorate it however they want!
Spring Chick Handprint Craft
Here’s what you need to make this Spring Chick Handprint Craft:
- Construction paper or card stock
- Yellow & Orange Craft Paint
- Paint Brush (this tip and wide)
- Black marker
- Googly eyes
- Glue
- A helping hand!
Paint your helping hand yellow, firmly press the hand down onto the paper to imprint. Do this once for each chick you want to make. Use the wide bristle brush to lightly whisk the paint on the handprint to give a “fluffy” textured look.
Allow the handprint to dry completely. Use the orange paint to make a little beak.
Glue the googly eyes on and then use the marker to give your cute little chicks some legs!
Adorable, right? This is one of our favorite spring art projects for kids — if you make one with your kids, be sure to share a photo on our Facebook page!
