This Alligator Clothespin Craft is a fun way to practice fine motor skills for little ones. They’ll love chomping and biting, pretending to be a scary predator.
Clothespins are great for all kinds of things — butterfly goldfish snacks, DIY gifts, and more! This easy project is one of our favorites.
Alligator Clothespin Craft
Here’s what you need to make this Alligator clothespin craft:
- Wooden clothespins
- Green paint
- Green marker
- Black marker
- White foam or paper
- Googly eyes
- Hot glue gun and glue
Start by painting your clothespins with the green paint. Cut the foam into small strips with triangular teeth.
Once the paint is dry, color the sides of each clothespin with the black marker, then glue the teeth onto the sides.
Use the green marker to outline your alligator, covering up the top of the white foam. Add two dots on the top for the nose, then glue on the googly eyes.
Your alligators are now ready for action!
Chomp, chomp!
