You could even add it to a fall sensory bin. The texture would be really fun to explore with colored rice.

Here’s what you need to make Pumpkin Pie Play Dough:
- 15 oz. can of pumpkin
- 3 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2-3 cups corn starch
Mix together the canned pumpkin and the pumpkin pie spice. Slowly add the corn starch, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
The amount of corn starch that you need will vary depending on the canned pumpkin you use. Different brands have different moisture contents — the can we used took 2 1/2 cups.
Once the dough reaches the desired consistency, knead it with your hands. Now you’re ready to play!
The play dough is moist and smushy — it’s the perfect fall sensory activity! We played with our batch in pie pans with dough stamps. My son loved getting to make his own version of pumpkin pie!
