If you want a quick and delicious healthy breakfast, smoothie bowls are where it’s at.  It’s all the goodness of a smoothie, but it feels more like you’re eating a meal.  This Banana Blueberry Almond Smoothie Bowl is perfect for first time smoothie bowl makers.  It’s super simple and really tasty!

I love the crunch from the almonds and coconut, and the burst of flavor from the fresh blueberries in this Banana Blueberry Almond Smoothie Bowl

There’s something about the combination of blueberries and banana that is just so good. I love the creamy banana smoothie mix.

It’s so simple to put together, just vanilla yogurt, a banana, and a splash of almond milk. The more ripe your banana, the sweeter the mixture will be. Then it’s topped with fresh blueberries, toasted coconut and whole raw almonds.  Of course, you can top your smoothie bowl with anything you like, but I find this combination of toasted coconut, almonds and fresh blueberries to be delicious.

I just love the crunch plus the burst of flavor from the fresh blueberries!

With a mild and sweet flavor of this smoothie bowl, it’s a great option for kids, too.  My daughter is a big fan of taking mini smoothie bowls in her lunch box for snack time.  I put the smoothie toppings in a separate container so they don’t get soggy.  At snack time, she pours the toppings onto the smoothie mixture and she’s ready to enjoy it!
