Did you know that it’s pretty easy to make homemade Rosemary Soap right in your very own kitchen? The fresh herbs and essential oils makes this soap so pretty and it smells wonderful.
Rosemary Soap
What you need to make Rosemary Soap:
- Melt and Pour Soap (1/4 of the brick)
- Fresh Rosemary, 4 oz.
- 1/4 cup Grapeseed Oil
- 1/4 cup chia seed
- 1 cup oatmeal
- Move Essential Oil Blend – 20 drops
Melt soap as directed on the package. Melt the soap until it is the same consistency as heavy cream.
In a blender mix chia seeds, rosemary, and oatmeal until powdered. Add mixture to melted soap.
Add in 20 drops of essential oil.
Stir and pour into a mold. Set aside for about 45 minutes until firm. Remove from mold, cut, and use.
Try using different utensils to cut it. A pastry scraper will do the job and a serrated knife will give the soap slices a textured edge.
You could whip up a batch of these, wrap them in tissue paper (or wax paper) and seal with some washi tape to gift to friends and family.
These is a great activity to do with friends. Get together and pool different ingredients for a variety of soaps spend an afternoon making soap. Once you make your first batch you’ll be hooked!
